Retailer of the Year

by Checkout Ireland, the grocery industry magazine for having won this prestigious accolade in 1999 and again, more recently in 2001 .
"I believe it is the calibre of my staff and management team in Carrigaline which has been the main contributing factor which has brought this honour to our Store" said Barry Collins, proprietor.

Excellence Ireland Award


At Barry Collins Supervalu, we have taken great pride in achieving the “National Hygiene Mark” for the past 6 years. The programme is organised by the Irish Quality Association in an effort to focus attention on the need to continuously improve hygiene standards and increase public awareness and appreciation of good hygiene standards. The Hygiene Mark is judged by Excellence Ireland through a series of in depth audits of the supermarket and is awarded to stores with excellent standards of hygiene. All areas are examined thoroughly and no stone is left unturned. For the past two years, we at Barry Collins have received an A+, which reflects a score of 95 –100%.
